    Hello,

I am very new in this and I believe that Freeletics will really help me out. Before getting a coach, I will follow up the workouts that I received from Freeletics through email. I would like improve my condition a little bit before getting a coach.

My question is for the first week, the workouts that I received are
Session 1: Burpee Max and Situp Max
    Session 2: Metis
    Session 3: Aphrodite

So, if I start working out for the first time tomorrow (Wednesday), am I supposed to do all three sessions in the same day?

    Thank you.

That is such a relief. :p

    I appreciate your quick return.

After three days, I will start from the first session again until completing a week. Is this correct?

    Thanks

No, these instructions are only for one full week.
3 days Training, 4 day rest. Or One day Training, one day rest and so one, your Choice. ;)
Every week you get a Mail with new training instructions for one week.
Maybe 3 sessions or 5 sessions for the week.

    Workout for Obliques

    Hi,

Which workout is recommended especially for the obliques parts of the abdominal area? I have big love handle issues around the waste which I really hate. :(

    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi there,

Had in the beginnend of FL a similar Problem :)
After completing 15 weeks (C&S Coach) the handles had not disappeared completely but are now so small That I am proud on the success.
I followed during the Coach the defined Workouts per week. There are many Cardio focussed Exercises such as Burpees, Climbers, Situps, leg Lever, Jackknife, froggers and more which Helps to melt the Love handles und strengthen your core.
If there was a workout which did not Challenge me I Added Some Situp or leg Lever max.

But i also tried to eat clean (at least the First 9 weeks :) no Sugar, no sweets and Focus on vegetables, fruits and filled up my appetite with nuts.

Give yourself the time and eat clean and Train Hard then You will get rid of those.

I really appreciated the advice Meccolos. I have just completed the 3 weeks trial period. I am so out of shape and it has been so long time that I have not been excising. Therefore, I would like get to a state before I start working with a coach.

Burpees, situps and leg lever are very good ones for the lower and the upper sections of the abs. I thought may be besides following the daily sessions, I should focus separately on the love handles. Since you mentioned that the regular FL workouts helped you a lot getting rid of it, I will follow your advice.

    Thanks again

    It doesn't work that way.

You can't get rid of your love handles by "focusing" your training on them, e.g. by doing lots of situps. Doing lots of burpees and situps and so on will burn fat, but you can't make your body burn your stomach fat instead of, say, fat on your legs, by focusing on certain exercises. Situps and leg levers will get you stronger stomach muscles, but won't specifically burn your fat layer there. Regular high intensity training will hopefully make you leaner in time. Everywhere. Genetics will probably determine where you notice it first. If you're lucky, that might be at your love handles, but then again it might not.

    Very true, indeed.
This is such a common misconception. My guess is that all these informercials (like the electrical belts to get six-packs abs) did a lot a to spread this myth.

You want nice abs: do cardio. Look at all these skinny marathon/triathlon runners, you can see every square centimeter of there muscles under the skin.
